17 “Bad” Movies That Deserve a Second Chance

Mortal Kombat (1995)

A movie based on a video game rarely makes an impact, but the popularity of the epically bloody Mortal Kombat in the early 90’s was enough to garner this intergalactic martial-arts movie a ton of attention. Unfortunately, it isn’t known for its great acting or story that makes a ton of sense.

The plot follows a high-stakes tournament that will determine the fate of the human race. Evil alien forces challenge human fighters to a martial arts battle that will decide the Earth’s fate.
