Kid gets head stuck between bars

Two-year-olds can get into some messy situations. Most parents have dealt with their kids doing things like cutting their hair, raiding the makeup drawer, or drawing with markers on the walls. A Brazilian boy upped the “oops” factor when he got his head stuck between two bars.

Arthur Gardine was just playing around when he managed to get his head stuck for two hours. After a few minutes, it was no longer fun for the two-year-old. Arthur’s father, uncle, and grandfather were stumped as to how to free the youngster.

Arthur’s grandma filmed the ordeal. She clearly was concerned as the little boy was stuck for so long without any relief. As the men tried to push the boy’s head back through the bars, he only became more frustrated. That obviously wasn’t going to work. They tried pulling the bars, but they are cemented well to the floor.

After a couple of hours were spent trying to release Arthur’s noggin from this unfortunate predicament, the solution was rather clear to his embarrassed father as you can see in the video below.

Arthur’s dad was redfaced when he realized how simple it was to get him out of there. The two-year-old didn’t put his head through the bar, but rather he slid his body sideways in there. That’s all they needed to do to free him!

“It took me over two hours to figure out that all of our efforts were a waste of time. It was just a matter of physics and a simple solution,” Rodrigo Gardine said. “Arthur hadn’t entered head first through the bars at all. We had been tackling the problem the wrong way.”

As you can see in the photo below, Arthur didn’t suffer long-term effects from being stuck. It appears that everyone learned a lesson!
