After Seeing Her Handler Being Attacked, Elephant Springs Into Action!

Have you ever seen an elephant charge at an innocent person before? In the video below, an experiment was conducted between two men, and the results are amazing!

In this video, a baby elephant rushed to help his handler after it looked like he was in danger. The handler was never in any real danger, as he instructed his co-worker to pretend to hurt him, knowing that the elephant would come to his rescue.

Animals really are great companions. They even have your back in tough situations! This is highlighted in this amazing video where a 17-year-old female elephant named Thongsri comes to the rescue. She is very protective of her mahout (a person who works with, rides, and tends an elephant) and when she sees him in trouble, she cannot help but to step in. In this fake situation, the mahout fakes being attacked and Thongsri charges in to rescue him! What a good elephant she is!

That baby elephant was kind of fast, wasn’t it? Had the elephant wanted to, he could have done some serious damage to either person, but luckily, he just wanted to make sure his handler was safe!

This reminded me an elephant named Kham Lha who lives in a park in Thailand. Her favorite person went into the river for a swim. She thought he was drowning, so she jumped in the water to save him. When she finally gets to him, she gives him a hug! Click here to watch that heartwarming video!
