Western romances are a big hit right now, especially in the book community. One of the leading series right now is being adapted into a television series. For Elsie Silver fans, her beloved series Chestnut Springs is getting a show adaptation, and this is everything we know about the series.

Netflix once again landed the rights to another book-to-television show adaptation. For fans of the western romance, you’ve probably heard of Elsie Silver’s five-book Chestnut Springs series: Flawless (2022), Heartless (2022), Powerless (2023), Reckless (2023), and Hopeless (2023).
The novels follow small-town romances, specifically the lives of the ranch-owning Eaton family and their friends as they discover their true purpose in life, as well as fall in love.
This is actually the second of Elsie Silver’s book series that has been picked up for a TV adaptation, as a couple of months ago, it was revealed that the author’s Rose Hill series was in development by Amazon MGM Studios.

Silver is one of the leading voices in the romance genre, known for her sassy, steamy, small-town romances that focus on real characters who are fiery, flawed, and unforgettable. If we compare this upcoming Netflix series with other adaptations, like Bridgerton, we might expect each season to focus on one book. Unfortunately, though, we haven’t heard any more information about the adaptation.
What we do know is that Hannah Schnieder (The Waterfront, Accused) is set to adapt Silver’s books for the small screen, with Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Shadow & Bone) set to executive produce through his production company, 21 Laps Entertainment.
