There’s nothing like a good historical drama to binge-watch to cure all ailments. And thankfully, Netflix has you covered with the next best one. If you’re obsessed with shows like Downton Abbey, Bridgerton, or even Outlander, then you need to watch House of Guinness. Here is everything we know about the stellar new drama.

House of Guinness is set in Dublin, 1868, and follows the four children of Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, a patriarch of the Guinness dynasty.

The official synopsis reads: “House of Guinness explores an epic story inspired by one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties – the Guinness Family. Set in 10th-century Dublin and New York, the story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guiness brewery, adn the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.”

The fictional retelling of the Guinness family history will surely be your next addiction, as it opts for a grittier story. Since the show was created and written by Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, it’ll be a harsher adventure.
