Americans seem to have had enough of the sanctimonious preaching from leftwing Hollywood. They turned the channel on the Academy Awards, tanking ratings for the show that promised to turn the evening into a political spectacle filled with overpaid actors bashing President Trump.
Neilsen ratings have the awards ceremony down four percent from the prior year. The Oscars have become less about entertainment and more about self-absorbed actors and their left wing agendas. Meryl Streep’s Golden Globe acceptance speech devoted to slamming President Trump last year apparently had an effect on Oscar viewership. This has turned off the American public.
Viewers who were able to plug their noses and watch the entire lengthy three hour and 49 minute awards show were given the treat of the biggest flub in Oscar history though. That was quite a reward!
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced the wrong movie as the coveted Best Picture. I didn’t watch either movie, but I love watching this mess! You can see that debacle in the video below.

All this bad news couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people. They need to learn to shut up and sing or act. We don’t need to hear about their politics when we are paying them to entertain us!
