Originally planned to be a limited series, Nine Perfect Strangers is getting a second season nearly four years after its premiere. And we’re excited to see Kidman returning to her original role as Masha, a health and wellness resort owner.

Similar to the first season, Masha will be inviting nine strangers to a health and wellness resort, but this time in a new location in the Austrian Alps. But while not much has been said about the plot, season 1 did end on a cliffhanger that’s sure to make a return, and the premise will likely follow the same trend as season 1, where the nine strangers get to know each other and secrets begin to be uncovered.

And while the first series followed the book, the second series is completely unknown and off-script, so it should be full of surprises for fans. Hulu gave some insight on the new season, saying, “Over the course of a week, she [Masha] takes them to the brink to connect in ways they could never imagine.” And at the retreat, Masha “is forced to confront some past demons… threatening to destroy both her own personal wellness and that of her guests.”
