When Does Wednesday Season 2 Come Out?
Unlike season 1, Wednesday season 2 will be released in two parts. The first part, comprising four episodes, will premiere on August 6th (a Wednesday), while the second part, which also has four episodes, will come out on September 3rd (also a Wednesday).
Very clever to release not only the teaser but each new batch of episodes on Wednesdays, and pay tribute to perhaps our favorite Addams family member.
The new season will be slightly different than the original. Ortega and others have commented about adding more horror elements into the second season, rather than the more romance-based events in the first. The teaser reveals creepy dolls, lots of weapons, and blood, proving these statements are true.
Who Will Be in Season 2?
The teaser reveals several old and new characters alike. Check out all the names you need to know joining the second season.

Wednesday Season 1 Success
The second season of Wednesday has a lot to live up to. The first season was a smash hit for Netflix in 2022, becoming the most-viewed English language series in the studio’s history, with 252 million views, and 20 weeks on the streamer’s global Top 100 list. The series also helped catapult Jenna Ortega as she appeared in other roles such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Miller’s Girl, and The Death of a Unicorn.
