There are never enough shows, movies, or video games surrounding the MCU. And even after several spinoffs, the franchise isn’t through creating more content for fans. Thankfully, a new trailer for Marvel’s Ironheart has arrived, and this is a quick look at the series.

Marvel Television released the new official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series, Ironheart, on Monday. And in it, Dominique Thorne stars as the young genius Riri Williams in the upcoming show. The series is supposed to be set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, so the show has the perfect balance of technology and magic.

The trailer shows Riri Williams returning to Chicago with a determination to make her mark in the world. Riri’s “unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins, aka ‘The Hood’,” states the official synopsis of the series.

Throne commented on how different Riri was introduced into the MCU, saying, “After bringing Riri to life in the world of Wakanda, we had an amazing opportunity to follow that up with a deep dive into the character that allows for the exploration of her origin story. We’re not necessarily going back in time; it’s more of catching up and seeing the effects of how those first pivotal moments of her life have shaped her, and seeing the person she’s trying to become.”

Not only did the new trailer for Marvel’s Ironheart drum up more interest in the Marvel Phase 5 show, but it also sparked new theories and discussions about Riri Williams’ first standalone adventure in the MCU.

The wait to see the show is almost over, too, as the first three episodes of Marvel’s Ironheart will release on June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Disney+.
