6. Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder

Every character is a ridiculous personality, but Tom Cruise went even further by putting on a ‘fat suit”, wearing a bald cap, and wearing prosthetic hands to play out a rage-fueled businessman for this film making him unrecognizable, and it’s the most impressive cameo that we’ve ever seen.
5. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in Frozen
Disney fans know that there are several Easter eggs and cameos throughout the films. Pinocchio is sitting in the Snuggly Duckling tavern in Tangled, Belle can be seen walking through the town in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Sebastian is seen snapping up the Genie’s finger in Aladdin. But one of the best movie cameos in the Disney franchise has to be in Frozen. When the gates of Arendelle are opened for the first time, people are bustling through to celebrate Elsa’s coronation day, and iconic couple Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are seen amongst the crowd. The cameo was so great that it sparked conversation and theories that Rapunzel is Anna and Elsa’s cousin.

4. Martin Scorsese in Taxi Driver
Martin Scorsese is regarded as one of the best filmmakers today. But did you know that he’s part of one of the best movie cameos in movie history? In his 1976 Oscar-nominated drama Taxi Driver, which stars Robert De Niro as veteran Marine Travis Bickle, whose mental state deteriorates as he works nights in the city, Scorsese makes not one but two cameos. However, it’s not a sneak peek cameo that you often see, but a downright chilly exchange. When Bickle picks up the passenger, the stranger reveals his disturbing plans for his cheating wife which involves his gun, which launches Bickle into his fixation with gun violence.

3. Stephen Kin in It Chapter Two
But sometimes it’s not the filmmaker who makes an appearance, but the author of the original story, like in It Chapter Two. The 2019 supernatural horror film is a sequel to the 2017 movie and is an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel It. And of course, Stephen King played a great part in the film as the pawn shop owner. It’s incredible to write such critically acclaimed novels and also act out his characters. he also refers to how the endings in his books aren’t always well received when discussing Bill’s character, who is a writer.

2. Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore
Turning away from some of the series movies once again, we have one of the best movie cameos from the 1996 sports comedy film Happy Gilmore. The movie stars Adam Sandler as a former hockey player who takes his talents to gold in hopes of earning money to win his grandmother’s house back. In this movie, Bob Barker, who hosted CBS’ The Price is Right and Truth or Consequence, made an appearance to beat up Gilmore after he essentially lost his cool on a heckler in the crowd. Like most of Adam Sandler’s movies, it’s one of the most bizarre and hilarious things to watch.

1. Stan Lee in MCU
But when you want to talk about some of the best movie cameos in cinema history, then you have to bring up Stan Lee. The man is notorious for his iconic and quick cameos in movies. Lee was a comic book writer and the primary creative leader for Marvel for years and is known for popping in through almost every MCU movie there is. Some of his most hilarious cameos include driving the truck in an attempt at pulling Thor’s Hammer in the 2011 movie, seen on Xander in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and appearing as a casino patron who takes T’Challa’s unclaimed casino tokens in Black Panther (2018). But one of the most iconic lines is his cameo as a FedEx driver in Captain America: Civil War, asking Tony if he’s “Tony Stank.”
