Larry the Cable Guy blasted entitled members of Hollywood elite for their grandstanding video which essentially lectures common folk during the coronavirus pandemic. Some top names in Hollywood, most of whom are outspoken liberals, joined actress Gal Gadot to sing John Lennon’s “Imagine” from their plush palaces.

Gal Gadot And Hollywood Elite Sing John Lennon’s “Imagine”

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy is a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group. He relishes his blue collar roots and doesn’t forget where he comes from.

Larry realizes that we will struggle as this pandemic has left many people out of work or underemployed. We will struggle the most while the actors and singers in the “Imagine” video do not have to be as concerned about getting a paycheck.

You can watch Hollywood’s version of the “Imagine” video below. “We are all in this together, we will get through it together,” Gadot wrote on her social media post.

While their intentions might have been good, their video highlights how they live in glass houses in gated communities. They are self-isolating in their mansions with every luxury imaginable while the rest of us are locked in our modest homes worrying about how we will even pay the rent or mortgage.

This is precisely what Larry the Cable Guy so poignantly pointed out.

“Here’s a message from people with a lot of possessions that can take a year off of work and not flinch telling everyone outa work to imagine a world with no possessions while people are living in the street a half mile away from ‘em,” Larry the Cable Guy tweeted to his followers.

Living Paycheck To Paycheck

“This really pisses me off! Most of us don’t have any savings. Paycheck to paycheck,” one follower replied to Larry.

This song is an atheist manifesto. The first words are “Imagine there is no heaven. It’s easy if you try.”

Many people rely on their faith in times is hardship. These members of Tinseltown worship the Almighty dollar.

As Tom Varner said when he replied to Larry the Cable Guy, “Imagining there is no Heaven isn’t hope.”

A large number of people responded to Larry the Cable Guy’s tweet. He followed it up with another apologizing for not acknowledging each one.

He also pointed out the song smacks of Communism in addition to promoting atheism. The government isn’t a religion.

Maybe someone needs to remind these Hollywood stars that John Lennon himself said, “‘Imagine’, which says: ‘Imagine that there was no more religion, no more country, no more politics,’ is virtually the Communist Manifesto, even though I’m not particularly a Communist and I do not belong to any movement.”

“I appreciate all the awesome tweets today. Sorry I couldn’t respond to all. I have no animosity toward these folks,” Larry tweeted. “The song was in bad taste. Marx would be proud of that song. And I’m not imagining no heaven. Jesus gives hope. Government can’t give people a heart change or hope,” he explained in a second tweet.”

We’re right there with you, Larry. Right now is not the time to be spreading anti-Christian rhetoric. Now is when we come together in prayer and hope. God bless you!
