Comic actor James Corden, best known for “Carpool Karaoke,” scooped up Céline Dion for a tour of Las Vegas on “The Late Late Show.”
“Well I just have a day off once a year and you called me on that day,” Dion said as she got into his car. As Corden asked her questions, Dion responded to each one with a song. The two have great chemistry. Her fans will love their humorous exchange. While they drive around, the two sing some of Dion’s most popular songs. They belt out “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” “I Drove All Night” and “Because You Loved Me.”
My Heart Will Go On
They even recreated a classic scene from the 1997 movie Titanic. However, when Dion, 51, and Corden finally got to the Titanic theme song, the late night host said that it did not feel big enough.
“I think I’ve got an idea, follow me,” Dion said before taking him to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. There, they recreated one of the movie’s most iconic moments while standing on a replica ship in the fountains. Their costumes resembled the ones that stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio wore in the film, and Corden even put on a DiCaprio wig!
Dion is staying as busy as ever these days with “Courage” world tour, which starts September 18 in Quebec City. Throughout the tour, Dion will make numerous stops in both the United States and Canada.
“I’m so grateful to all the fans who have come to see my show in Las Vegas for so many years, and now I get the chance to create a brand new show and bring it to them in North America, and around the world,” Dion said in a statement. “I’m very excited about this tour, and my new album … coming later this year.”
