A member of the Elvis’s Memphis Mafia has passed away. Marty Lacker was one of Elvis’s best friends. Marty and Joe Esposito both played the role of Best Man at Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding.
Lacker is credited for making “From Elvis In Memphis” happen. If it weren’t for Marty, Elvis fans would never have heard “Suspicious Minds” or “In The Ghetto.” These were Elvis’s final hits.

Marty and Elvis went to high school together. Marty stayed in the music industry following Elvis’ death in 1977. Father Time stands still for nobody and now these two friends are reunited in the afterlife.
