Elvis Presley was a performer for the ages. The King didn’t just sing rock ‘n roll, but he often belted out gospel songs from the stage. He made gospel music cool as he incorporated his trade mark dance moves to the message of the Lord.
In the video below, Elvis sing “O Happy Day” to a small audience. It actually appears that it was a warm up session.
The King lent his soulful style to this classic gospel song. I’ll never hear this song the same way again!
