Candace Cameron Bure shares her marriage secret for couples who want to maintain their relationship. She credits a “spicy” sex life has propelled her almost 25 year marriage to former hockey player Valeri Bure.
The two met at a charity hockey game in 1994. They had a whirlwind romance and were married June 22, 1996.
The Bures will celebrate their silver anniversary next month. The “Fuller House” star discussed how they have been one of those rare Hollywood couples who have survived and thrived over the years.
Sex Should Be Celebrated In Christian Marriage
Cameron Bure is a devout Christian. She doesn’t shy away from the fact that a healthy sexual relationship in a marriage should be celebrated.
It helps build and sustain intimacy that is needed for the longevity of a relationship.
“Sex doesn’t stop once you get married. Sex is the blessing of marriage and I hate when Christians are like, no, you have to pretend like you’ve never had sex, and we only know that you’ve had sex three times because you’ve had three children,” Cameron Bure previously said.
The Bures do have three children, daughter Natasha, and sons Lev and Maksim.
Bure’s Marriage Secret
Now, she is getting into more detail and offering suggestions to couples who might find themselves in a slump.
She believes sex should be celebrated in a Christian marriage.
Keeping things frisky is a secret weapon in combatting a stale relationship she dished on “Daily Blast Live” on Tuesday.
“Just do something unexpected,” she said. “Maybe lay in a way you don’t normally lay. He’ll be like ‘woah.’ You’ll surprise him!”

Silver Anniversary
“I think it’s important. You’ve got to keep it up. The longer you’re married it’s so easy to take each other for granted. You know each other so well that you forget, so you have to keep it spicy,” the actress said. “I love that. My husband and I do. That’s one of the reasons we’ll be celebrating 25 years of marriage.”
