A retired police officer is standing by killing a man who was stalking his 15-year-old daughter after she found fame on the social media site TikTok.
Daily Mail reported that TikTok star Ava Majury went on “Good Morning America” this morning along with her father Rob and mother Kimberly to tell their story.

Stalker Invades Home Of TikTok Star
Their harrowing ordeal began back in July, when 18-year-old Eric Rohan Justin traveled all the way to their home in Naples, Florida from his own residence in Maryland.
Armed with a shotgun, he blasted through their door at around 4:30 in the morning. He had tracked Ava down after failing to get her attention on TikTok for months. He managed to buy photos of her and even her phone number from her friends.
Ava eventually made contact with Eric sold him two selfies for $300.
“After talking to both my parents, I thought it would be mutual if I got in contact with him directly. I said, ‘hey, can you stop going through my friends and stop contacting people for information about me just come straight to me and you can purchase it all from me,'” Ava recalled.
Ava’s father Rob got involved when Eric began demanding more explicit content, at which time the retired police officer reminded the teenager that Ava is still a minor.
Though Ava blocked him, he continued to send her money unsolicited on the app Venmo. He sent her $159.18, then $100, and then $368.50.

Eric Shoots Through Door – Rob Grabs His Gun
When Eric ultimately shot through the front door of the Majury family home, Ava ran to a bedroom with her two siblings, and her father grabbed his gun.
Determined to protect his family, the retired New Jersey police officer went right to the front door and shot Eric. He later died from his injuries at the hospital.
“There was no second guessing, there was no time to rethink my actions,” Rob recalled. “I reacted. I acted as best as I could under the duress and stress I was put under.”
“Someone came to kill me. I had to do what I had to do to protect my family and I made sure of it,” Rob said in the same interview, with his wife Kimberly saying that he handled the situation “perfectly.”
“When that sound went off we knew what it was, boom,” she remembered. “I actually thought my daughter was dead. He was just standing there, looking at us for a few minutes. I think he thought maybe for a second I was my daughter in the doorway.”

Ava Staying On TikTok
Ava’s father has never been charged for the incident. Police told him that he is protected by Florida’s Stand Your Ground laws. Despite what happened, Rob and Kimberly have allowed Ava to stay on TikTok, where she can make $1,700 for just one of her videos. She has 1.2 million followers.
“I have three TikTok accounts, so I could have one brand come to me and be like, ‘Oh, I’ll do $1,000 for one video on your main account,’ and I’ll be like, ‘Oh great, I have two other accounts that are different types of people on there,'” she explained to The New York Times. “So altogether, I’m making $1,700 off just my name, because I opened up three accounts rather than just building off one.”
While we don’t know if we would let our children stay on TikTok if something like this happened, we can’t argue with Rob doing whatever it took to protect his family.
Thank goodness the Majury family live in a state like Florida because Rob could easily have ended up being charged with murder if he lived in a liberal-run state.
These truly are some crazy times that we live in.
