Becky Two Belts is reigning atop the WWE Women’s division right now, holding both the RAW and SmackDown LIVE titles heading into the Money in the Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sunday May 19th. As such, she is set to defend both titles at the event, pulling double duty.

Why could this be? Well, it seems there is a very good chance she may drop one of the titles after the PPV is all said and done. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is stating that she’s being featured twice so that she can drop a championship, allotting her the excuse of injury in the first match for being the reason she lost one of her two belts, so The Man comes out of MITB still looking strong.

As of now, she is set to defend her Team Blue title against Charlotte Flair, while NXT callup Lacey Evans will get a shot at that RAW Women’s title. Plus, there’s a small chance she could win both bouts, and then get one of the titles cashed in on, as it is the MITB event, and someone could be holding that briefcase before one or both of her matches roll out.

Only time will tell.

– The King of Sleaze has been making huge waves in the land of professional wrestling, and when you get the attention of the WWE Universe, you get the attention of WWE officials.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been talking to Joey Ryan as of late, and with his Lucha Underground contract out of the way, he still has yet to sign with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). When word got out about his free-agent status, it seems the WWE contacted him requesting if he would be interested in relocating to Orlando. No official offer was given.

The report noted that Ryan’s earnings as an indie superstar far outweighs that of what a NXT talent typically receives, and it might not be the best move at this point in time for Joey to make a change of this nature. While it is unlikely that he’ll head to the WWE, especially since the company would most likely change his character as well, they have reached out.

WNZ will keep you posted on any further developments around this story.
