Taylor Swift is absolutely on top of the world right now.

Her Eras Tour is breaking records and raking in cash, and she’s going all over the planet. But her recent show in Lyon, France proved to all doubters that she can hang with the best showmen of all time.

Swift Sings In the Rain

Swift, 34, headed over to France for the latest leg of her epic Eras Tour.

So far, the tour has taken her all over the United States, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Portugal, and Spain. She has further upcoming stops in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, and even more.

But it will be hard to top her performance in Lyon, which is earning her praise.

At the Groupama Stadium, Swift proved she was a match for the weather, which included a downpour.

But it wasn’t just Taylor Swift that was a champ – her fans were, too. She even thanked them for sticking it out during the marathon 3-and-a-half hour concert.

“So it looks like we have officially had a rain show tonight, this is a rain show for sure,” Swift said to her adoring fans. Then she praised them: “You guys are absolute champions and heroes for dancing even harder when it started raining.”

Hiccup In Scotland

The tour hasn’t been all roses though.

For an upcoming Eras Tour stop in Edinburgh, Scotland, the locals are learning a little bit about fame.

As in, the local homeless population got the boot in order to make room for thousands of screaming Swifties.

Shelter Scotland, a homeless organization, reported to the BBC that the homeless were being shipped out of Edinburgh for destinations in Aberdeen and Glasgow.

Shelter Scotland called the exodus of the homeless “a blatant injustice.”

Still, they didn’t blame the singer. Instead, they blame the city council and the Scottish government for the action.

Biggest Concert Tour of All Time

But besides that hiccup in Scotland, the Eras Tour has been a smashing success.

So far, the tour has raked in over a billion dollars – and she’s not even finished with her European tour. Pollstar reports that the Eras Tour is bigger than the next two highest-grossing tours combined.

Love her, hate her, or indifferent, Taylor Swift is by far the biggest pop star working today.
