You never know what is going to happen when you go to the zoo. While the animals are contained, they still have instincts that shine through.
One family found this out when a lioness was interacting with their baby through the glass barrier between them. Their son had his back turned as the big cat tried to swipe at him and even opened her mouth! The baby was completely oblivious as to what was happening right behind him.

Even though the baby was safe, that still had me nervous! She wanted to get to that baby. That is not something I would want to see even with glass separating them!
