When your children get older, you miss their sweet little voices from when they were little. Today’s parents of youngster have the benefit of technology to preserve recordings of those little voices that eventually become big voices.
Chrissy Logsdon’s son Jake likes to help out. The little fellow has a lot to say, too. The cute things he says are made even better with his sweet southern accent.
Jake was helping his mom make a grocery list. This simple task is made so sweet by his personality that the video of it has gone viral. Over 5 million people have been captivated by the preschooler’s accent and his attention to detail. He repeats every item his mom says they need to get at the store. Then he pretends to write it down.
“We need spaghetti,” his mom says. “We need ‘sketti. What else?” he asks. “We need bananas,” she says. “We need ‘nanas. What else?”
Tatos and ‘matos are added to the list as well as “taco stuff.” Chrissy tells him that’s all they need, but Jake isn’t sold on that. “No it ain’t. We need some more,” he said as he called to see what his dad wanted from the store.
The video below of this charming and adorable little Southern boy will melt your heart.

What a sweetie! I’m not surprised that almost six million people are enamored with Jake’s shopping list. His accent and willingness to help are simply adorable.
There is another video of Jake that is also popular. He wants to get a chainsaw and a grass blower from the garage to help his dad out with his projects. This little boy is the sweetest thing. He just wants to help out. These videos have me missing the days when my son was this age.
