In the latest news amongst the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kylie Jenner is getting sued by a former chef after claiming that the demanding job contributed to her miscarriage.
On June 22, the former chef filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that she worked 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week, while performing demanding tasks even though she informed her supervisors about her pregnancy.

According to the claims, the woman told Kylie that she had a “high-risk pregnancy” and asked for reasonable changes at work to help protect her health, but the requests were not properly made.
In February, 2025, the chef was around five months pregnant when she worked at an event in Palm Springs, California. She claims she warned her supervisors that the workload was too much, but they failed to support her when she asked for help.
The lawsuit claims that she was so exhausted that she “broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event.”
“That evening, [she[ experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”
The next morning, she woke up haemorrhaging and went to the emergency room. The doctors said that she “lost her unborn child.”

According to the lawsuit, the chef claims that her demanding work caused her to miscarry, which led to her developing depression, and claims that Kylie’s team wrongfully dismissed her from the job that spring.
While speaking to The Independent, her lawyer, Della Shaker, said that “Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws.”
“Given that the laws apply equally to everyone, regardless of wealth, influence, or public profile. Our client deserves the same protections afforded to every employee in California.”
This is just the latest lawsuit against Kylie after two former housekeepers also filed separate lawsuits against her earlier this year.
