While Kim Kardashian stars in the legal drama, All’s Fair, Kylie Jenner makes acting debut in the mockumentary film about Charli XCX, The Moment.
The 28-year old reality star gave fans a preview of her acting skills in the film’s trailer, which was just released on Thursday.
“The second people are getting sick of you, that’s when you need to go even harder,” Jenner tells the pop star in her brief appearance.
The movie follows a fictional version of Charli XCX as she struggles with fame and the heightened demands of the music industry while also prepping for an arena tour. The movie is set to release on January 30, 2026.
The idea for the film came to Charli when she was approached by her label to make a documentary around her hit brat album and tour. The pop singer talked about her opinion of documentaries, saying, “It’s not a tour documentary or a concert film in any way, but the seed of the idea was conceived from this idea of being pressured to make one.”
Charli talked to Vanity Fair in October about the idea, saying, “It’s fiction, but it’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen.”
Jenner stars as herself in the movie and is described as having a “very small part.” Jenner talked about her role during Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloe in Wonderland” podcast. “Oh my god. For the Charli movie coming out, I was — Khloé, I was so scared for days to actually do it. I had a very small part. I mean, I had a lot of lines, but I was just so afraid,” she said.
“I think I used to do a lot more things out of my comfort zone, and now I’m used to being very sheltered, staying in like a, you know, safe box for me.”
Along with Kylie Jenner, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Alexander Skarsgård, Kate Bertlant and Rachel Sennott.
This isn’t the only path that Jenner has tried out over the last few months. Under her “King Kylie” alter-ego, the reality released her first oriignal song, “Fourth Strike,” however, she’s talked about her stance on her music, saying, “I’m going to be 30 soon and I just don’t want to look back on life and have any regrets and this is something I’ve always wanted to try,” she said.
“But, you know, I don’t think I’m like Adele or anything. I always wanted to try and see if I can do it.”
