The Kardashians are known for saying crazy things all the time. But the most recent comment has left viewers in shock. During Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim Kardashian spreads ‘crazy’ conspiracy theories by saying the moon landing “didn’t happen.”
The 45-year-old reality star tried to convince her “All’s Fair” co-star Sarah Paulson that the 1969 moon landing was “fake.”

“I’m sending you, so far, a million interviews with both Buzz Aldrin and… the other one,” Kardashian told Paulson, 50, on the set of the new Ryan Murphy series.
“This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary, but it wasn’t, cause it didn’t happen,” Kardashian told the actress.
Paulson told Kardashian that she was going on a “massive deep dive” to look more into Kardashian’s claims, as Kim Kardashian has held strong about her beliefs. Even during a confessional from her trailer, Kim reiterated her stance on the moon landing, saying, “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.”
“Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon – why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?”

When the producer asked Kim Kardashian what her response was going to be when people label her crazy for her conspiracy theories, the reality star just said, “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what. But, like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”
While TikTok is definitely not the best place to go for a deep dive into information about the moon landing, this is a popular conspiracy theory. And of course, several reasons debunk her theories. For instance, the flag was actually stationary and only moved because of the way the flag was planted in the lunar soil.
It was also debunked that Aldrin said that the moon landing was fake. In the full clip, Aldrin’s short comment was cropped perfectly to make it seem as though he was saying the moon landing was fake. He was actually talking extensively about the details of the mission, and the clip was taken out of context.
As far as the shoes not matching the prints, that’s because Aldrin and Neil Armstrong put on lunar overshoes over their suits before stepping onto the moon.
While it’s fun to theorize, and the moon landing being a hoax is an extremely popular conspiracy theory, it’s also been debunked several times. If you want to keep an eye on your favorite celebrities and similar hilarious moments, keep checking back here for more details.
