In the most recent season of Hulu’s hit reality TV show, The Kardashians, on Thursday, a tearful Kim Kardashian receives shocking medical news during a brain scan.
During the scan, doctors found a small aneurysm during an MRI, which she blamed on her ex, Kanye West. The Skims clothing founder called her eldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, after the discovery of a “little” aneurysm, which is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel, according to Mayo Clinic.

Kourney put a hand over her heart and simply said, “Whoa” after hearing the shattering news.
When the doctors were asked “why the f-k” it was happening, they informed her that aneurysms were commonly caused by “stress”. The 24-year-old icon believes her divorce from Kanye West was the root cause of this. The reality star was married to the rapper from 2014 to 2022, and shares four kids.
“I feel more stressed, probably just because I have to protect my kids,” she said about the subject. “Everyone around can handle [the drama[, but I want to protect my babies. They are going to know things. They’re going to grow up and see.”
“So my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just make sure that they are protected,” Kim continued.

The divorce has led to a slew of dramatic events, including West accusing the “Kardashian mob” of restricting his parenting with his children in March, after receiving backlash for featuring their daughter North on a song with Sean “Diddy” Combs. At the time, Combs was incarcerated, facing sex-trafficking and prostitution charges.
In Thursday’s episode, where Kim Kardashian receives chocking medical news, Kim claimed she has Stockholm syndrome during her relationship with her ex-husband. “I’ve been able to hide it for so long,” she shared on the Season 7 premiere.
“I always felt like I had a bit of Stockholm syndrome, to where I always felt really bad and always protected [him] and always wanted to help.”
