During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on October 24, Kim Kardashian shocked fans with her next career plans.
The bombshell confession wasn’t something that many fans would have thought. The reality star confessed that she was ready to give up her “Kim K” persona ten years from now. On the show, Kardashian said that she wants to be a trial lawyer after taking the bar exam in July.

“I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law,” she expressed, shocking fans and viewers. “Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”
Kim Kardashian reveals that she graduated from her law course, California’s Law Office Study Program, earlier this year. She also completed the four-year course in six years, due to COVID-19 and juggling other work commitments.
“I always want to be growing, curious, and evolving, and I want to see wherever that takes me,” Kardashian explained on the show.
According to Jessica Jackson, one of the attorneys sponsoring Kardashian’s education, the reality star studied 18 hours a week for 42 weeks a year over the course of six years, which adds up to a total of ‘5,184 hours of legal study’. “That’s time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows, and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.”
“Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination,” the mentor shared in footage Kardashian posted on her Instagram Story.
For followers of the Kardashian family, this might not be a shock, as the reality star revealed she was studying law in a 2019 interview with Vogue. She also shared that she felt inspired by “seeing a really good result” with Alice Marie Johnson, the prisoner she helped get released.
Kim Kardashian has been very open about her journey with her next career movie, and has even shared that she failed the “baby bar” exam three times before passing the test in 2021. And during a 2022 interview with Vogue Hong Kong, she revealed that she hopes to open a “successful law firm” one day.
And while Kim Kardashian shocked fans with her next career move confession, we hope to see her dreams achieved one day too, and have no doubt that her determination and passion will get her there. For more celebrity news, keep checking back here for the inside scoop.
