Earlier this month, we reported that the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston was targeted by a deranged stalker who crashed his car into the gates of her Bel Air mansion. Luckily, Jennifer’s security team was able to apprehend the suspect before he could reach the actress inside the home.
This came after a difficult few months for Jennifer. Indeed, she’s been plagued by shocking rumors that she’s dating the former President Barack Obama. It’s also been alleged that Barack is preparing to divorce his wife Michelle after 33 years of marriage.
Now, it appears that this has all become too much for Jennifer to handle. Insiders are saying that Jennifer has made the decision to flee Hollywood amidst all of this chaos in the hopes of living a quieter life.
Jennifer To Flee Hollywood
Sources told Daily Mail that Jennifer, 56, has been left so shaken by this stalking incident that she is preparing to flee Hollywood in favor of living in her $15 million mansion in Montecito. She reportedly feels safer in that ritzy area of Santa Barbara, as it is far away from the craziness of Los Angeles.
“Jen is happy to have a safe place to run to where she can let her hair down,” said one insider close to Jennifer. “Though she loves Los Angeles because it is where she grew up, she is craving more of a country setting these days away from the noise.”
Another friend of Jennifer’s said that the stalking incident at her Bel Air mansion “did a number” on her and left her “flipping out.”
“It’s a bad feeling knowing someone wants to break into your sanctuary,” this source explained. “It’s such a shame that happened.”

Jennifer’s California Properties
Jennifer has lived in this 8,500 square-foot Bel Air mansion ever since 2011, when she bought it for $21 million. The home boasts four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms with a wine cellar, pool, and guesthouse. It also has city and ocean views, and it sits on almost two acres of land.
While this Bel Air mansion has always been Jennifer’s home-base, it has never been Jennifer’s only property. In September of 2022, Jennifer bought her Montecito mansion from Oprah Winfrey in an off-market deal for $14.8million. Though Jennifer never planned to live at her Montecito mansion permanently, it appears that this stalking incident has changed that.

Jennifer Plagued By Barack Obama Romance Rumors
This comes after a difficult few months for Jennifer. Indeed, she’s been forced to deal with rampant rumors that she’s dating the former President Barack Obama. This comes amidst rumors that Barack is divorcing his wife Michelle, and that the former first couple have been living “separate lives” for quite some time.

Rumors that Jennifer is dating Barack have escalated to the point that the actress has been forced to deny them in interviews. In an October interview with the late night host Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer was asked directly about the Obama dating claims.
“I was not mad at it, but that is absolutely untrue,” Jennifer said of the rumors.
“I’ve met him [Barack] once. I know Michelle more than him,” she then claimed, alleging that she only met the former president at a 2007 Hollywood gala before he took office.
