Earlier this week, we reported that the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston had been targeted by an alleged stalker who was arrested at her Los Angeles mansion after crashing his car into her gates. Now, chilling new details have emerged about this stalker after he had his first court date.

Aniston’s Stalker Appears In Court

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, was shirtless and wrapped in a blanket when in court for the first time on Thursday. The Mississippi-native was behind glass in a custody area of the Los Angeles courtroom. Carwyle did not enter a plea, and he did not speak at all.

Carwyle was not granted bail. He was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Aniston, 56. In addition, a judge ordered Carwyle to go through mental-health court to determine whether he is competent to face felony stalking and vandalism charges.

Judge Keith L. Schwartz expressed his doubts that Carwyle actually understood him when he mandated that he stay away from Aniston.

“I don’t believe him staying away from Ms. Aniston will be an issue at this time,” said Deputy Public Defender Toral Malik, who is serving as Carwyle’s attorney.

Even so, the judge issued the order after prosecutors insisted that he do so.

“You are not to have any contact with Jennifer Aniston under any conditions,” Judge Schwartz said.

Carwyle’s History

Fox News has learned that Carwyle is an auto mechanic who has been living out of his PT Cruiser in Los Angeles for several months. His friends fear that he is having a “mental breakdown.”

Carwyle had been sending Aniston unwanted social media, voicemail and email messages since March of 2023. He claimed that they were married, but corruption kept them apart. Indeed, Carwyle described Aniston as his “bride” and his “true soulmate.”

“Set you straight about Me & Jen,” read one post that Carwyle allegdly wrote in December of 2024. It was obtained by E! News. “ReMinding you The Perfect Husband had to have A Perfect Wife Named Jennifer Joanna Aniston.”

A social media post from March of this year reads, “They Amaze me, packing so much love, in such a small package, Known as Jennifer Joanna Aniston Carwyle.”

Carwyle Crashes Into Aniston’s Gates

At around 12:20pm on Monday, crashed his car into the gates of Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion, where she has lived since 2011. Aniston’s security team immediately apprehended the suspect and held him at gunpoint until police arrived to arrest him. Though Aniston was home at the time, she thankfully never came in contact with Carwyle, and nobody was injured.

“Stalking is a crime that can quickly escalate from harassment to dangerous, violent actions, threatening the safety of victims and our communities,” said Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman. “My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable.”

“I want to thank law enforcement and our Stalking and Threat Assessment Team, particularly Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld, for their outstanding work in this case,” he continued. “By working together, we are ensuring that dangerous individuals are taken off our streets.”

Carwyle has been charged with one count of felony stalking and one count of felony vandalism with an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm. If convicted, he’s facing three years in prison.

Aniston has yet to speak out about this terrifying ordeal. Please join us in saying a prayer for her!
