Beyoncé has found herself in hot water with her own fans this week. Indeed, the Beyhive, as her fans call themselves, is up in arms over the cost of presale tickets to Beyoncé upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour.
It’s a very different attitude from last week’s euphoria over her victory at the Grammy Awards.
Beyoncé Fuming Over Her Ticket Prices
The BeyHive presale began on Tuesday at noon, and it ran through 11am on Wednesday. (The super fan members are able to buy Beyoncé tickets before they are made available to the general public on Ticketmaster.)
Unfortunately for Beyoncé, however, her fans weren’t having any of the alleged Cowboy Carter ticket prices. Some even claimed that the prices ranged into the thousands of dollars.
“Beyoncé and Ticketmaster got me [expletive] up. $950 for a decent seat before fees?!!!” one social media user commented. “And the resellers are going STRAIGHT TO HELL for charging $4000 to $6000 for a resale ticket.”
“Beyoncé should be ashamed for these ticket prices. Girl we were already willing to pay a good amount, but $1k+ for ALL floor seats?!” a second fan added before comparing this to Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance Tour. “I paid $600 for my Renaissance ticket and was right in front of the stage! You can’t tell me winning this Grammy brought her value up that quick.”
Oh, dear fan, but it has!
“The Beyoncé ticket prices are actually insane wanting ur fans to go into debt to add to your billions like girl,” a third fan wrote. A fourth livid fan stated, “I knew something was afoot when I saw other concerts for terrible artists charging Beyoncé prices. Because now Beyoncé price ain’t Beyoncé price!”
The Cowboy Carter tour is set to begin on April 28 in Los Angeles, California. Beyoncé will later end the tour with a show in Atlanta, Georgia on July 13. The tour will also include stops in Chicago, London, New York, Paris, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and Houston.

Beyoncé Wins Best Country Album
This comes after Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album controversially won the Grammy for Best Country Album.
“I was not expecting this, I want to thank God – oh my God – that I’m able to still do what I still love after so many years,” Beyoncé said as she accepted the Best Country Album award from Taylor Swift. “I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what their passionate about. Stay persistent.”
“I’d like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators, thank you, this wouldn’t have been this album without you,” Beyoncé continued. “God again, and I’m still in shock … and thank you again for this honor.”
Beyoncé Wins Album Of The Year
Later in the night, Beyoncé was shocked to win the Album of the Year Grammy for the first time.
“It’s been many, many years,” Beyoncé said in her speech. “I want to dedicate this to Ms. Martell.”
This was a reference to Linda Martell, the performer who became the first black woman to play the Grand Ole Opry.
“I hope we just keep pushing forward and opening doors,” Beyoncé added.
Beyoncé has yet to respond to the outrage over the price of her Cowboy Carter tickets. Only time will tell if she backs down to the Beyhive and actually lowers the prices!
