The Hollywood star Kevin Costner is speaking out this week to reveal the advice that he would give his younger self if he had the chance.

Costner’s Advice To His Younger Self

Costner, 68, took to social media on Thursday to post a photo of himself in his younger days.

“I think often about what I’d go back and say to this guy,” he wrote. “Mostly, I’d want to tell him to get ready for one hell of a ride.”

“What would you tell your younger self if given the chance?” Costner added.

Costner’s ‘Yellowstone’ Rumors

This comes amidst rumors that Costner is leaving his hit show “Yellowstone,” which is currently filming the second half of its fifth season. While Costner is rumored to have left the show, his exit has not been confirmed.

“We have no news to report,” a Paramount Network spokesperson told Fox News. “Kevin Costner is a big part of ‘Yellowstone,’ and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come.”

Dawn Olivieri, who is new to the “Yellowstone” cast, recently revealed that she and her co-star Wendy Moniz have texted each other about the drama surrounding Costner and his status on the show.

“Wendy and I text each other like, ‘Do you know anything?'” Olivieri told E! News. “We don’t know anything. Nobody tells us anything. You think we’re in the know? We’re really not in the know at all.”

Olivieri went on to say that the prospect of working with Costner was one of the main reasons that she was excited to be cast on “Yellowstone.”

“I would be really bummed if I’m on the show and I don’t get a chance to work with [Costner],” she continued. “That would be a real sad day for me.”

Costner Misses ‘Yellowstone’ Appearance

Last weekend, Costner did not attend a scheduled appearance at a panel at PaleyFest, a TV festival in Los Angeles.

“People traveled from around the country to sit in the audience and watch Kevin Costner talk about Yellowstone, and half an hour before the event was supposed to start they said he’s a no show,” Marc Malkin, Variety’s senior editor and columnist, told the “Today” show

Malkin then questioned how much Costner would participate in the next season of “Yellowstone” if he remains on the show.

“He’s not saying how much he’s going to be involved,” Malkin stated. “Will he be starring on the show? Who knows at this point — it’s really anybody’s guess.”

In June of last year, Costner talked to The Hollywood Reporter about the future of “Yellowstone.”

“You don’t get voted off the island, you get written off of it,” he said at the time. “I think it’s safe to say the foot’s on the gas and we’re not slowing down.”

Costner Denies ‘Yellowstone’ Rumors

“Yellowstone” has only gotten more popular since it premiered back in 2018, with the Season 5 premiere garnering a record 12.1 million viewers back in November. Costner previously had to shoot down rumors that he was refusing to film the second half of season five.

“The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of Season 5 of ‘Yellowstone’ is an absolute lie,” Costner’s attorney Marty Singer told Fox News. “It’s ridiculous — and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second.”

“As everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its success,” he continued.

“Yellowstone” is one of the best shows on television right now, and Costner is a huge part of the show being the hit that it is. We can only hope that he stays one the show, because we love seeing him in it!
