Spears Hits Back At Milano
Spears took to her Instagram Story to fire back at a tweet that Milano posted in December.
“Someone please go check on Britney Spears,” the former “Charmed” actress wrote at the time.
This didn’t sit well with Spears, who posted a screenshot of the tweet along with the caption, “It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me !!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying !!!”
“Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down !!!” she added, according to Fox News.

Since Milano is known for being a woke leftwing activist who frequently preaches things like “believe all women,” Spears’ post is particularly damaging to her brand. Sources have since told TMZ that Milano has privately reached out to Spears to offer what appears to have been a groveling apology for her tweet.
Unfortunately for Milano, however, many fans are taking Spears’ side:
I am so happy Britney called out @Alyssa_Milano this tweet from her was completely inappropriate and uncalled for , she is all about women supporting women except when it comes to Britney right?#BritneySpears #JusticeForBritney pic.twitter.com/slOnSn8gQW

The irony but she tweeted! 😂 It's already 2023 & Alyssa Milano still making tabloids for bullying other women lol! From her co-stars in Charmed Shannen Doherty & Rose McGowan and now Britney Spears who just got freed from her own Father. Let the woman enjoy her thing! https://t.co/RDEllS4WMl pic.twitter.com/33skRd2gG6

Spears On The Defensive
This comes days after Spears was forced to defend herself from claims that she is having a “breakdown” after she briefly deleted her Instagram account.
“Since everyone thinks they know my story,” Spears said last weekend, according to Page Six. “THINK AGAIN !!! A mere side of any given SUNDAY doesn’t show worship placing someones story out there … it’s a day of WELCOMING … not a righteous reply !!!”
“It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown…,” she continued. “I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!”

Last week, Spears took to Twitter to complain that police were being called to her home in response to what she described as “prank calls” from her fans.
“I love my fans but this time things went a little to far and my privacy was invaded,” she said. “The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”
“This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media,” Spears continued. “During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward.”

Officers with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that they had been called to Spears’ home after receiving calls from fans. They added that they went to the home “out of an abundance of caution” and “determined she was safe and in no danger.”

Milano’s Liberal Activism
As for Milano, she’s become far better known for her radically leftwing “woke” activism in recent years than for anything she’s actually done in film or television. She recently bragged to Extra that she believes she launched the #MeToo movement herself with a single tweet.
“I feel like I was just the vessel,” she said. “I feel like there was some high purpose that was all going on.”

Milano also expressed her love for using her social media account to spread her liberal activism.
“I am able to reach 4 million people on Twitter, and even if I just used it as a megaphone to share my microphone with grassroots activists who are doing incredible work who don’t have as many followers and it touches one person, then it’s worth it,” she added.
Milano may feel a little different about her Twitter account now, however, given how much trouble it’s gotten her into with Spears. Perhaps you should think twice before you tweet about another woman and her mental health again, Alyssa!
