Whoopi Goldberg and Alyssa Milano are two staples of the leftwing media world, so it’s rare that they disagree with one another. That’s why it came as such a surprise on Tuesday when Goldberg shut down Milano for staying on Twitter despite hating that Elon Musk has taken over the platform.

Goldberg And Milano Clash

While appearing on Goldberg’s ABC talk show “The View” yesterday, Milano talked about her decision to protest Musk by returning her Tesla, yet at the same time staying on Twitter.

When asked if she would continue to be on Twitter, Milano replied, “Yeah, because we can’t cede that territory. It’s like a turf war now. That’s how I look at it.”

Goldberg, however, was not having any of it.

“Nah. Not that. That one you don’t — there’s other ones you can come and grab, leave that to them,” she fired back, according to Yahoo News. “‘Cause that’s what that is meant to be now. It’s not meant to be any better than what we’re seeing.”

“But if we’re not representing our side of the political discourse, aren’t we just saying, ‘You know what, you can have Twitter?’” Milano responded, with co-host Joy Behar agreeing with her that this would be like “you’re handing it over.”

Despite this, Goldberg stuck to her opinion and shut Milano down by saying that she left Twitter weeks ago.

“Some things you have to walk away from until you can get the control you need of it. Right now, there’s no way to get this control,” she said. “And so, find the ones that you can get and fix, and then come back and run that over. But do your self a favor. Do yourself a favor.”

Milano Attacks Musk

Fox News reported that Milano had attacked Musk earlier in the show.

“When he was accused of sexual misconduct and paid out $250,000 to this person, I decided like I can’t live in that hypocrisy of that driving that car, when, you know, that happened,” she said.

“But also I’m kind of like, like I’m so annoyed with all of these billionaires, with like the exception of a few, but especially Elon Musk, like you buy Twitter to destroy it for $40 billion, right, $40 billion, Elon Musk, imagine if he donated that money to UNICEF,” Milano continued. “He would change the world. There would be, there would be no hunger.”

This came days after Milano ironically took to Twitter to announce that she was protesting Musk by giving up her Tesla.

“I gave back my Tesla,” Milano wrote on the social media platform. “I bought the VW ev. I love it. I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model.”

Goldberg Quits Twitter

Goldberg announced earlier this month that she was leaving Twitter because of Musk acquiring the social media platform.

“So it has been a little over a week since Elon Musk took over Twitter and the place, it’s a mess,” she said. “He also suspended Kathy Griffin for impersonating him on a parody account, which has started a FreeKathy hashtag to trend. I’m — I’m getting off. I’m getting off today because I just feel like, you know, it’s so messy.”

“I’m going to get out, and if it settles down and I feel more comfortable, maybe I’ll come back,” Goldberg added. “But as of tonight, I’m done with Twitter.”

Liberals are losing their minds over Musk taking over Twitter because he’s actually making efforts to bring freedom of speech back to the platform. Goldberg and Milano can go at each other all they want to, but it won’t stop Musk from continuing to give conservatives a voice on social media!
