Doudrop’s had an interesting run in the WWE during her four-year tenure. However, the star was last seen on SmackDown and NXT in late August. So, where is she and what’s the deal behind her TV absence? More on this story, below.

Doudrop’s WWE TV Absence

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio recently talked about Doudrop and other NXT UK stars that have seemingly “vanished” off WWE TV as of late. He shed some light on the situation.

According to Meltzer, The Gallus faction, Tyler Bate, Blair Davenport, and Piper Niven’s (Doudrop) are all dealing with (work) “visa” difficulties right now. These talents are all getting their visas sorted out, which is why they are off WWE television.

Doudrop’s WWE TV Absence – What’s Next?

The WWE made an announcement in 2022 that NXT UK was going on hiatus. This is for the company to ramp up for the launch of NXT Europe.

At the age of 31, Doudrop is a veteran of the squared circle. She began her career in 2007, working the indie circuit until she was offered a deal with the WWE.

She signed a contract with the company in early 2019. Doudrop would then debut on NXT UK in late March of that year.

She would be called up to the main roster in 2021 and worked with Eva Marie when she first came to Monday Night RAW. While Marie was released later that year, Doudrop continued as a single competitor.

She’s been in some incredible storylines during her WWE tenure. Doudrop also holds the bragging rights as a two-time WWE 24/7 title holder.

Meltzer gave no specific timeline of when fans can expect to see Doudrop and others return to WWE television. Here’s hoping the talents sort out their visas soon.

Over to some AEW news, Dax Harwood has a new podcast that has created some buzz. Unfortunately, it is also rubbing some people the wrong way.

Dax Harwood’s Podcast Issues

Harwood’s podcast has already been quite controversial. He’s offered several hot takes on the wrestling world, including, defending CM Punk.

Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer Radio recently notes that the AEW roster isn’t very happy about some of the things Dax has said during his podcast. This apparently comes from “different” AEW talents.

According to Bryan, he’s heard this from people that you “don’t” typically hear from. This likely means a number of wrestlers, not just one disgruntled star.

Can’t We All Just Get Along?

As per Dave Meltzer, the debut of Dax’s podcast ruffled a ton of feathers. Harwood is a close buddy of CM Punk.

Therefore, his statement that Punk should be welcomed back into the fold caused some unfavorable reactions from some AEW talent. Plus, some didn’t agree with his statement that both Punk and The Elite should bury the hatchet.

With that said, will Tony Khan do anything to address Dax and his podcast statement? With FTR’s AEW contracts up this spring, it’s highly unlikely.

It’ll be interesting to see what Harwood talks about for his next podcast. Only time will tell.
