The country music star John Rich is calling out Rob Reiner for continuing to tweet after the former “All In The Family” star pledged to leave Twitter because of Elon Musk’s recent acquisition of the social media platform.

Reiner Calls On Others To Leave Twitter

Though he had previously indicated that he would leave Twitter if Musk bought it, Reiner indicated afterwards that he plans to stay on the platform, for now at least.

“For those who are fighting to preserve our Constitutional Democracy, now is not the time to leave Twitter,” he tweeted. “Now is the time to VOTE BLUE!”

Reiner has since continued to tweet his radically liberal propaganda like it’s his job in the days since then.

“Donald Trump has been spreading The Big Lie for 2 years,” Reiner tweeted, continuing his obsession with the former president. “The violent assault on Paul Pelosi and the attempt to murder Speaker Pelosi is directly related to that Lie. Donald Trump is 100% responsible for this and Jan.6. He must be indicted and never be allowed to hold office.”

Unfortunately for Reiner, however, Rich wasn’t about to let him forget his past comments saying that he would leave Twitter if Musk took it over.

“Rob, didn’t you say you were leaving Twitter if @elonmusk took it over?” Rich wrote. “I, for one hope you stay. You are a constant reminder as to how deranged Hollywood is. You are important to the public discourse! Without your constant insanity, people might forget how whacko you ppl are:)”

Boom!

Celebrities Leave Twitter Over Musk

Reiner is far from the only celebrity who has said he’ll leave Twitter because of Musk’s takeover:

Celebrities Delete Twitter Accounts

NBC News reported that the former “Madam Secretary” star Téa Leoni deleted her Twitter after tweeting to her 124,000 followers, “Hi everyone. I’m coming off Twitter today—let’s see where we are when the dust settles.”

“Today the dust has revealed too much hate, too much in the wrong direction,” she added. “Love, kindness, and possibilities for all of you.”

Mick Foley, a retired professional wrestler and actor, deactivated his Twitter page after writing on Facebook that he is taking a “break” from the social media platform “since the new ownership — and the misinformation and hate it seems to be encouraging — has my stomach in a knot.”

“I really do enjoy connecting with all of you on social media, but it can get overwhelming sometimes. I think I’ll be back on in a few weeks, but in the meantime, I will continue to post on Facebook and Instagram,” Foley wrote. “I hope all of you will be kind to one another.

“Please vote if you can too — our democracy seems to be hanging on by a thread,” he concluded.

Comedians Respond

The comedian Tim Young perhaps said it best when he tweeted, “Toni Braxton and Sara Bareilles leaving Twitter is like the bottom of the 99 cent CD bin at Walmart walking out.”

The comedian Jimmy Failla also got in a good jab at liberal elite celebrities, tweeting, “Please stop telling us about these celebrities leaving Twitter because of @elonmusk – you’re gonna crash Google from everyone looking up who they are.”

It’s funny that these celebrities are so full of themselves that they actually think they are sticking it to Musk in some way by leaving his platform. We applaud Rich for calling out Reiner on his nonsense, as we’d all be better off if “Meathead” put his money where his mouth is and finally left Twitter forever. We can only hope that Reiner despises Musk enough that he’ll do that in the future!
