Jason And Brittany Aldean Get The Last Laugh As Maren Morris Skips CMAs Red Carpet

Jason and Brittany Aldean appear to have gotten the last laugh in their feud with Maren Morris after the “woke” country music star skipped the red carpet at the Country Music Awards last night. This came weeks after Morris had said that she might not feel comfortable attending the CMAs amidst her feud with the Aldeans.

Morris Avoids Red Carpet

Page Six reported that Morris ditched the red carpet last night at the Nashville, Tennessee awards show, where she was nominated for her most recent album, “Humble Quest.” She was spotted arriving at the event with her husband Ryan Hurd just minutes before the Album of the Year category was announced.

Morris may be wishing that she didn’t attend the CMAs at all, however, as she ended up losing to Luke Combs, for his album “Growin’ Up.” She was then seen leaving the Bridgestone Arena immediately after Combs was named as the winner of the award.

Afterwards, Morris took to Twitter to post a video of herself walking down a hallway holding a bottle of champagne.

Aldeans Enjoy Red Carpet

Meanwhile, Jason and Brittany put on a united front as they walked the red carpet together. The couple seemed as happy and carefree as ever as they made their way down the red carpet to the awards show. 

Jason was nominated for Musical Event Of The Year for his duet with Carrie Underwood, which was called “If I Didn’t Love You.” They ended up losing to Ashley McBryde and Carly Pearce for their duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”

This came two months after Morris said she didn’t “feel comfortable” attending the CMAs amidst her feud with the Aldeans. 

“I’m very honored that my record is nominated. But I don’t knowj if I feel [at] home there right now,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “So many people I love will be in that room, and maybe I’ll make a game-time decision and go.”

“I don’t feel comfortable going,” Morris added. “Some nights are fun. Others I’m just crawling out of my skin. I’m not good at those events because I’m awkward. But this time I kind of feel peaceful at the notion of not going.”

Morris Feuds With Aldeans

Morris has been feuding with the Aldeans ever since August, when Brittany made comments that the “woke” leftwing mob has branded to be transphobic. 

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Brittany wrote alongside one of her makeup tutorial videos. “I love this girly life.”

Jason stood by his wife in the comments section of the video, writing, “​​Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

Morris fired back at Brittany in a tweet that read, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

“I’m glad she didn’t become a boy either because we really don’t need another a**hole dude in the world,” Morris later added. “Sucks when Karens try to hide their homophobia/transphobia behind their ‘protectiveness of the children.’ Weren’t they putting their kids in ‘Biden-is-a-pedo’ shirts on social media?”

Brittany Stands Her Ground

The feud only escalated from there, with Morris going back and forth with the Aldeans on social media over the next few months. Despite receiving backlash from other leftists as well, Brittany refused to back down.

“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender-affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” Brittany said. “I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence. The other day Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur and tomorrow Navy will want to be a cat.”

Memphis and Navy are the two young children she shares with Jason. 

“They’re children,” she continued. “Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly. That they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions. Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions. Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tomboy phase without changing my gender. Until then, leave children alone!”

Throughout this entire feud, Morris has shown that she’s nothing more than a keyboard warrior. She has no problem attacking the Aldeans online, but is so afraid of seeing them face-to-face that she skipped the red carpet and ducked out of the CMAs early just to avoid them.

It doesn’t get much more spineless than that. 

We’re glad to see that the Aldeans seem to have had such a fun time last night. If anyone deserves it, they do!
