Jason Aldean And Wife Torch Maren Morris In Hilarious ‘Stay Woke’ Newscast

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany escalated their feud with the country music star Maren Morris by slamming her as they celebrated Halloween with a hilarious “Stay Woke” newscast.

Jason and Brittany began the video by sitting at a fake Channel 4 news desk as they were dressed up as the main characters from the classic 2004 movie Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, which starred Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate. 

“Good evening NashVegas and welcome to channel 4 news We are 80% unbiased 100% of the time,” Jason said before reporting the latest “news.” 

“Our first story tonight out of NashVegas comes from Luke Bryan, who was recently caught driving all the country girls crazy by eating out of a jar of peanut butter,” he continued as video played showing Bryan eating peanut butter.

“And our most unbiased story of the evening, tonight we tell a tale of a wannabe country artist and his wife, Brittany and Jason Aldean,” Brittany said, before Jason interjected to add, “Oh I’ve heard of them before.”

“Yes, back in the news,” Brittany stated, going on to make the point that the media oftentimes twists her words.

“Apparently, according to Brittany’s recent Tweet, she hates all animals based on the Tweet, ‘I love dogs,'” she said, with Jason responding, “What a b–ch!”

“Sounds like a PR nightmare,” Brittany continued as the camera zoomed in on Jason, who was infamously dropped from his GreenRoomPR firm earlier this year amidst his feud with Morris. 

“Now, most of you may not know who Jason and Brittany Aldean are, but if you like to Google, you potentially find them on page five or six,” Brittany said, while Jason added, “I actually found them on page thirteen, her and her Busch league country music artist of a husband just need to zip it.”

Aldeans Conclude Newscast

The final piece of “news” that the Aldeans reported on was the country music star Kane Brown trending on TikTok once again. 

“Kids love the TikTok and they love when Kane Brown dances!” Jason said. “And there you have it and Kane just giving me one more reason why I rarely get on TikTok and that’s our newscast for the night. Thank you guys for tuning in.”

“Stay woke everyone,” Brittany said as she signed off, with Jason declaring, “you can be woke in country, so, stay country and we’ll see you tomorrow.”

The video ended with Jason telling Brittany, “you should just shut up and go start a wig and just shut up and sell your wigs.”

This was a dig at Morris, who told Brittany on Twitter back in August to “sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Morris and the Aldeans have been feuding since August, when Brittany took to Instagram to post a video of her doing her makeup along with the caption, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”

Music Mayhem reported that Jason voiced his support for the post by commenting, “​​Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

Morris And Cassadee Pope Sound Off

While the post likely seems benign to most, Morris and her fellow “woke” country music star Cassadee Pope claimed that it was transphobic.

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging,” Pope tweeted. ”But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase’ to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie,” Morris tweeted in response. 

Morris later doubled down on this in a lengthy comment on Pope’s Instagram page.

“I’m glad she didn’t become a boy either because we really don’t need another a**hole dude in the world,” Morris wrote. “Sucks when Karens try to hide their homophobia/transphobia behind their ‘protectiveness of the children.’ Weren’t they putting their kids in ‘Biden-is-a-pedo’ shirts on social media?”

“F-ck all the way off to Insurrection Barbie and the fellow IB’s trolling this comment section with their hypocritical, hateful asses,” she continued.

Brittany Fires Back

Despite this backlash, Brittany has refused to back down.

“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender-affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” she responded on Instagram. “I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence. The other day Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur and tomorrow Navy will want to be a cat.”

“They’re children,” she continued. “Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly. That they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions. Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions. Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tomboy phase without changing my gender. Until then, leave children alone!”

Morris Doesn’t ‘Feel Comfortable’ Attending CMA Awards

Morris has since said that she doesn’t feel safe attending the CMA Awards, since she knows the Aldeans will be there. 

“Honestly, I haven’t decided if I’m gonna go,” Morris told the Los Angeles Times in September. “I’m very honored that my record is nominated. But I don’t know if I feel [at] home there right now. So many people I love will be in that room, and maybe I’ll make a game-time decision and go. But as of right now, I don’t feel comfortable going.”

“I hate feeling like I need to be the hall monitor of treating people like human beings in country music,” she continued. “It’s exhausting. But there’s a very insidious culture of people feeling very comfortable being transphobic and homophobic and racist, and that they can wrap it in a joke and no one will ever call them out for it.”

Morris has shown over the past few months that she’s nothing more than a “woke” liberal snowflake. We’re glad that the Aldeans seem to be having fun with their feud with her, and we’d love to see them post more “Stay Woke” newscast skits in the future!
