Star Injured At AEW All Out, Powerhouse Hobbs Getting Push
At least one star was injured at Sunday's AEW All Out PPV. Plus, it looks like Powerhouse Hobbs is in line for a big push.
Following Sunday’s show, at least one star was injured at AEW’s All Out. Plus, Powerhouse Hobbs appears to be getting a big push soon.
Star Injured At AEW All Out
Sunday was the company’s latest PPV, but at least one star was injured at AEW’s All Out.
And, the injured star happened early on the All Out card.
One of the first matches of the evening was the mixed tag match between the team of Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti and the team of Ortiz and Ruby Soho.
And, the star injured at AEW’s All Out is Ruby Soho, per Fightful.
It has been reported that she sustained a broken nose during the match, which her and her partner lost.

Considering the crazy bump she took, she’s lucky to have only gotten a broken nose.
#AEWAllOut Apparently, Ruby Soho broke her nose and may have injured her neck
How careless of Sammy Guevara . Just dropping Soho after the tag move instead of making sure she landed safely .
Another injury attributed to Guevara๐ #AEW #AEWDynamite

Most fans were not kind to either Tay or Sammy, calling the above bump a wicked botch that could have ended up a lot worse.
One did make a fair point that Conti seemed to notice that Soho suffered a nose injury, but the ref had not yet noticed.
Tay was aware of ruby’s nose injury when she did the pin, if you look closely she asked her “are you ok?” and then grabbed the ref who didn’t noticed to check on her while she tried to not break character. You can tell Tay was worried๐ซ #AEWAllOut #AEW pic.twitter.com/zsmPAdz03Y

Still, there seems to be some concern about the safety of a certain AEW duo in the ring. And for now, Soho might be missing some time.
Powerhouse Hobbs Getting Push
If the report via Fightful is true, it looks like Powerhouse Hobbs will be getting a push.
And, based on how Hobbs fared on Sunday evening at All Out against his former buddy…the push may already be underway.
Powerhouse Hobbs defeats Ricky Starks with the spinebuster.
A convincing win for Hobbs taking care of Starks in relatively quick fashion. #AEWAllOut

Hobbs has been with the company for three years already. He has long been on record as wanting to become AEW’s first black World Champion.
The expected big push may or may not get him there, but it is likely at worst a good start.

Looking at a man with the size, strength and skill of Hobbs, he represents something a bit different for a major AEW star.
Compare Hobbs to the list of recent AEW Champions, names like Page, Omega, Moxley and Punk.
Stars like Wardlow, Keith Lee and Powerhouse Hobbs are bigger, faster and stronger. In a sense, they are almost Vince McMahon’s stereotypical “ideal talents”.
Well, maybe not Keith Lee…but Vince McMahon lost his edge and his job.
