Now that Cody Rhodes is back in WWE, fans may be wondering…when will we see Stardust make a return? And following an abrupt end to his first WrestleMania match, Rick Boogs speaks about his injury.

When Will We See Stardust

By now, we all know (or should know) that Cody Rhodes is back in WWE. So, when will we see his alter ego, Stardust, return?

If Rhodes has his way…never.

In one of the many post-return interviews, Rhodes spoke with Ariel Helwani.

One topic covered? Stardust.

While some fans might have enjoyed Rhodes’ time as the face-painted Stardust…Cody did not.

And, per Cody Rhodes, in discussing his return…he requested that we never see Stardust again.

Now, as he commented, it was a request, not so much a demand. No promises were made, but he made it clear he has no desire to revive that persona.

It would seem, given the company’s extensive commitment to the newly returned Superstar, that they’d want to honor that request.

Still, this is the wonderful world of WWE. Never say never is a key saying around these parts.

We used to think we’d never see another Steve Austin match, but we got one on Saturday. And, a cameo on Sunday.

Then, we used to think Edge was fully retired…until he wasn’t. The Undertaker is retired and now in the Hall of Fame…but even he exited by saying “never say never” as fans chanted for one more match.

So while WWE seems to be OK with the request, and we didn’t see Stardust on Saturday…one never knows.

I mean, if brother Dustin ever makes a WWE return? Stranger things have happened.

For now, it’s 100% about the American Nightmare.

Rick Boogs Speaks About Injury

WrestleMania 38 did not get started well for one Superstar, and now Rick Boogs speaks about his injury.

In case you missed that, Boogs was injured during the opening bout on Saturday.

As he attempted to lift a second Uso, he sustained a major injury to his quad.

He rolled out of the ring and was unable to continue. The match wrapped shortly after, and WWE later confirmed the legit injury.

Boogs will require surgery, and it was said WWE had already sent him to Alabama to have the repair work done.

The injured Superstar posted to his Instagram account, discussing the weekend and his unfortunate injury.

Rick Boogs may have only been entering his first WrestleMania match, but he is already incredibly popular. He and Shinsuke Nakamura have gotten over with fans.

It is not known whether the duo were actually set to claim the belts on Saturday. We know his injury shortened the match, but it is not known (and may never be) whether the outcome changed on the fly as well.

Following surgery and rehab, we could see Boogs return in anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on a number of factors.

And with that timeframe out there, I am going to make the early prediction: Boogs makes his return in the 2023 Royal Rumble.

It makes too much sense…but it also depends a lot on the recovery.

We wish him well and look forward to seeing him back.
