Now that the cat is finally out of the bag, Cody Rhodes’ contract details are beginning to emerge. And, after the way the weekend went for her, is Ronda Rousey upset with WWE?

Cody Rhodes Contract Details

The return has officially happened…and now that we can say he really is back, let’s talk some Cody Rhodes contract details.

Rhodes, in case you somehow missed it, triumphantly returned to WWE on the first night of WrestleMania 38.

Yes, this was one of the worst-kept secrets in recent memory.

Regardless of whether you knew he was coming in or not, he is now back in WWE…and has a new contract to boot.

And, as we see happen, contract details are coming out.

No, not hard and specific clauses. But Cody Rhodes himself dished on some contract details now that he’s back.

Cody Rhodes spoke with The Ringer following his return.

One thing he wanted to confirm is that his return is not a part-time thing. He has signed on for a multi-year, full time contract.

On top of that, Rhodes himself called his contract perhaps one of, if not the most complicated contracts the sport had ever seen.

Now, that’s pretty significant.

Rhodes did not explain the exact complexities.

However, he did acknowledge that WWE hooked him up with a bus, to allow him to travel with his family.

That makes the full-time commitment a bit easier to do.

I would imagine that there are bits in there covering outside projects, like the executive producer role for the upcoming A&E special on his father.

More details may emerge, but the bottom line is this: after six years, Cody Rhodes is back.

Is Ronda Rousey Upset With WWE

Over the weekend, some whispers made rounds, leaving us asking a question: is Ronda Rousey upset with WWE?

That was what was circulating Saturday and early Sunday. At least one such report can be attributed to the Wrestling Observer.

As the report went, Rousey did not find out until Friday that her bout against Charlotte Flair was not, in fact, the main event on Saturday.

Upon hearing of that, per the initial report, Rousey stormed out and skipped Friday’s Hall of Fame ceremony.

Rousey lost her match on Saturday, too. So, you could see why she might be a bit upset.

Lost her perceived main event slot…AND then lost the match too?

Except, as it turns out, this report seems to be nothing but fake news.

At least, that is what Ronda Rousey herself has come out and said.

Until or unless someone comes out to claim Rousey’s response is nothing more than spin…it seems we just got another round of fake news.

It is entirely possible she believed her and Flair was set to be the main event, or it should be. And, perhaps at times during the planning, it was.

But, once it was clear that Austin was going to be involved, and work a farewell match (even if it was not announced as such ahead of time), there was no way that wouldn’t main event the show.

Even if WWE wanted to give the main event slot to Flair and Rousey…can you imagine how dead the crowd would be after Austin?

Not to mention, the mat would have been drunk at that point, and in no condition for a match.
