What’s Going On With Ric Flair?

Ric Flair is at it again. He’s been on a bit of a tear recently, bashing WWE for not engaging with him, but now he’s appeared to disparage his long-time friend and advocate, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Flair made his thoughts known on The Game during a recent episode of his podcast, Woooo National Uncensored.

“I have no idea. He and I were incredibly close, and now I never hear from him, so I don’t know.”

Have you maybe thought of calling Trips up yourself, Ric? You know, maybe talking to your friend who recently suffered a major cardiac event? No? The guy who almost died owes YOU a phone call? Got it.

Flair’s been openly critical of WWE ever since he was let go late last year. Naitch has made it clear he isn’t a fan of the company and said no one from WWE reached out to him after his divorce

“I was very sorry that no one from WWE contacted me during this time. A phone call would have been enough to find out if everything was okay. In some ways, WWE is the most insensitive company in the world. They act as if you don’t exist.”

Ric Flair’s Most Recent Divorce

The last few months have not been good for the Nature Boy. The “Plane Ride From Hell” episode of Darkside of The Ring led to widespread condemnation of Flair and the loss of several endorsements. Earlier this year, Naitch announced his separation from his fifth wife, Wendy Barlow.

Flair wanted to continue traveling, partying, and being around fans, and Wendy wanted no part of it.

It seems to me that Flair has become a bit more like his old self without Wendy holding him down. Barlow was the woman who nursed him back to health following his catastrophic health event.

When You’re No Longer In The Main Event…

Flair is without his wife, without WWE, and has been shunned by many wrestling communities. I hope he is surrounding himself with good people.

Flair is so used to being in the spotlight and the main event that when he isn’t, he can lash out.

I don’t mind it when vets throw WWE under the bus. But it does irk me when vets who have had their lives saved by WWE appear so ungrateful. WWE gave the Nature Boy a ton of paydays that helped the famously debt-ridden wrestler stay afloat. Not to mention they are the employer of his daughter.

I guess Ric was miffed that WWE distanced themselves from him following the Vice documentary, and Flair took it personally.

I hope Flair can get the help and support he needs and that he can turn his life back around. It’s weird to say, but he became a better person after his dramatic, life-threatening health scare a few years back.
