Michael Page Vs. Logan Storley Set For Interim Bellator Title

With Yaroslav Amosov battling to protect his country, Bellator will move to create an interim title.

Amosov, the reigning welterweight champion, is defending his home country of Ukraine from attacks by Russia. The promotion has signed Michael Page vs. Logan Storley to crown an interim champion.

Page and Storley will headline Bellator 281 on Friday, May 13 from London. The card airs live on Showtime.

“Like the rest of the world, we’ve been shocked by the tragic events in Ukraine and the thoughts of everyone at Bellator MMA are with Yaroslav and all the Ukrainian people during this time,” said Bellator MMA President Scott Coker. “We wish he and his family the best and look forward to seeing him return safely to happier times, both inside and out of the Bellator cage.”

Along with Page vs. Storley, Douglas Lima meets Jason Jackson and Lyoto Machida battles Fabian Edwards. 

Rounding out the main card will be Denise Kielholtz vs. Kana Watanabe and Paul Daley vs. Andrey Koreshkov.
