Is Elias In Limbo? + Kane In Hot Water Over Russian – Ukraine Post

He has not been seen since last July…so is Elias in limbo within WWE? And, Hall of Famer Kane is in some hot water over a post on social media.

Is Elias In Limbo?

He might as well be on a milk carton…but we will ask: is Elias in limbo?

Per a report out of Ringside News, not quite…but close.

As the story goes, Elias is actually not in limbo, but rather a bit of creative purgatory.

Specifically…it’s been a while since anyone has even brought his name up for any plans at all.

That isn’t promising…and it has to make you wonder if he might see his name on the next round of cuts instead.

Elias was on the shelf for the better part of 2021. There were rumors of a re-imagining of the Superstar…but whatever was in mind, has stalled.

While WWE has had plenty of time to bring him back into the mix…he remains absent and in limbo.

One could have reasonably thought we’d have seen him in the 2022 Royal Rumble…but we did not.

Instead, we saw…Johnny Knoxville. Among other less than inspiring fodder.

Heck, we even saw Shane McMahon…before things turned ugly.

So, we’ve heard lots of things about Elias, from a reboot to now being in limbo.

Hopefully we see him back in a WWE ring soon, or the next time we hear his name called, it might not be for a good bit of news.

Kane In Hot Water Over Russian – Ukraine Post

Speaking of news, WWE Hall of Famer Kane is in hot water over a post he made relative to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

More specifically, his real-life self, Glenn Jacobs, made the post, which can be seen below.

Jacobs is very much a conservative politician, but the post is a bit of a weird one.

While that post got him in hot water, and it is understandable why…he had more sane posts later on.

To give you a summary (I think)…

Glenn Jacobs does not want the United States joining the fight.

He is supportive of both the Ukrainians who are fighting, as well as the Russian citizens protesting against the invasion.

And yet…he still posted that, which can be interpreted as pro-Putin, or pro-Putin-aggression…which seems quite counter to other recent posts.

It does seem like his point was less about supporting Putin, and more how he figures that one side of the political aisle won’t understand Russia’s ruthless aggression.

Just to show he isn’t completely unhinged, there was this tweet later on Sunday, supporting the Russians protesting the invasion.

Still…it’s not hard to understand how or why such a post could land Kane in hot water.
