Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Waffles On Joe Rogan Support After Finding Out About ‘N-Word’ Usage

Last week, we reported that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was defying the radical left by voicing his support for popular podcast host Joe Rogan, who is being targeted by the cancel culture mob at the moment. Now, however, Johnson is backtracking after it was revealed that Rogan has used the N-word multiple times in the past.

A tweet went viral on Friday showing the many times that Rogan used the N-word on his podcast over the years.

Johnson Walks Back Support Of Rogan

In the wake of Johnson expressing his support for Rogan, author Don Winslow tweeted at the former WWE wrestler to let him know about Rogan’s history with the N-word.

Dear @TheRock, You’re a hero to many people and using your platform to defend Joe Rogan, a guy that used and laughed about using the N word dozens of times, is a terrible use of your power,” Winslow wrote. “Have you actually listened to this man’s many racist statements about Black people?”

This was enough for Johnson to completely turn on Rogan.

“Dear @donwinslow Thank you so much for this I hear you as well as everyone here 100% I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I’ve become educated to his complete narrative,” Johnson tweeted in response. “Learning moment for me. Mahalo, brother and have a great & productive weekend. DJ.”

Rogan Apologizes

This came after Rogan took to Instagram to apologize, calling his past use of the N-word “the most regretful and shameful thing I’ve ever had to talk about publicly.” He also said that the viral compilation video was made up of “out of context” snippets from “12 years of conversations.”

“It looks f–king horrible. Even to me,” he said.

The Left Wants To Cancel Rogan

The left has been trying to get Spotify to cancel Rogan’s podcast over the past few weeks for allegedly spreading “misinformation” about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines.

Rogan has since promised to “do better” in his discussions about COVID-19, according to The New York Post.

But, Spotify did pull 113 episodes of Rogan’s podcast on Saturday, according to podcast tracking website JREMissing.

“I’m not trying to promote misinformation. I’m not trying to be controversial,” Rogan said in another Instagram video. “I’ve never tried to do anything with this podcast other than just talk to people and have interesting conversations.”

It was this comment that previously prompted Johnson to voice his support for Rogan.

“Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated,” Johnson commented last week. “Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”

As you can see from above, however, Johnson has since had a change of heart. Needless to say, he won’t be “breaking out the tequila” with Rogan anytime soon.

Others are standing up for Joe Rogan:

And, perhaps this one is the best – simple and to the point.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
