Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey (kind of) shocked the wrestling world when she returned at the Royal Rumble and scored a surprising win. As the Baddest Woman on the Planet stood tall on Saturday, one question remained; who would she challenge at WrestleMania?

Ronda came out to a raucous audience, where she said neither “Rebecca” nor “Charlotte” was worthy of her time. However, she hinted that perhaps Charlotte was the one who would face her.

Ronda put herself over as the “Baddest B*tch” in WWE. Ronda was all business in this promo. She looked serious and focused, looking for a huge fight.

This brought Rebecca, who goaded Ronda into judo throw, throwing Becky straight to the ground. Ronda answered with…a tease for her appearance on SmakcDown, where she will deliver her answer.

As Ronda left the ring, Becky began to talk smack…

And then a LEGENDS music hit!

LITA IS BACK, and she challenged Becky for a title match at Elimination Chamber

Becky accepted the challenge, and Lita vs. Becky will face off at the Elimination Chamber live from Saudi Arabia.

What is next for Ronda Rousey?

The obvious choice, for me at least, is Ronda vs. Becky. The story is too perfect; Becky was the first to take down Ronda, and both women are coming back from giving birth. Two mothers in the main event? That would be one hell of a story.

I think that has the most heat anyway. I don’t see Charlotte generating the level of interest Becky does. I don’t know who Charlotte will face, but I don’t see her in the main event this year.

Lita in Saudi Arabia?

I’m surprised Lita is going to Saudi Arabia for this match. She is a reasonably outspoken feminist who famously wore “Times Up” themed gear in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble. I’m sure the money the Saudis are offering her is life-altering, and perhaps she sees it as a chance to push for women’s rights in a country famous for treating women as 3rd class citizens.

Are you excited about Lita’s return? Who will Ronda Rousey select? Let us know in the comments below.
