Conor McGregor wasted no time in calling for his crack at Charles Oliveira.
Shortly after Oliveira defended his lightweight title at UFC 269, McGregor launched his campaign.
“So what date am I fighting Oliveira?” McGregor posted on social media.
Oliveira earned a victory over Dustin Poirier this past weekend, stopping the top contender. Poirier, of course, earned two wins in 2021 over McGregor.
The second Poirier vs. McGregor contest ended early when “Notorious” suffered a serious injury. He has been working his way back since, looking at early 2022 for his return to the Octagon.
McGregor, a former featherweight and lightweight champion, also took a bit of a shot at Oliveira.
He also showed off his new body following a workout.
