Here we are for our first SmackDown in a Nutshell for November, and we have a major question. Will the Bloodline bend a knee by the time the show is over?

In fairness, that isn’t what we headed into the show wondering…but it did not take us long to get there.

Roman Reigns and the Bloodline kicked off the show, and did not take long to seek revenge for last week’s loss to the New Day by his cousins.

And since Jimmy Uso took that pin, it will be Jimmy against King Xavier Woods.

The stakes are significant.

If Woods loses, he will bend a knee and acknowledge the Tribal Chief.

However, if King Xavier Woods wins? It will be Jimmy Uso who has to bend a knee.

Now, the night is not all about the Bloodline, of course. So what else will this fine SmackDown in a Nutshell offer?

Well, perhaps a bunch of Superstars walking on eggshells? Or, trying to do what they can to avoid future releases.

Too soon? Perhaps…

But otherwise, the entire show is going to help build us to Survivor Series, just a few weeks away.

So, without any further delay…it is time for…

SmackDown In A Nutshell: Will The Bloodline Bend A Knee?

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and see who will bend a knee!

Best Match of the night:

I will take the main event. Some decent stuff throughout the show…but the main event was the best.

Worst match of the night:

Naomi and Shayna Baszler.

Perhaps because I feel like this Naomi-Sonya Deville thing should kind of get to where it is going…and soon.

Star of the Night

Well, I ‘d say WWE did a lot to get that to be one King Xavier Woods.

Think about it…he was always “the other guy”.

Big E got his title. Kofi had his.

Now, this is Xavier’s shot…and I am here for it.

Spot of the Night:

For me? Has to be McIntyre’s Claymore on Ricochet tonight.

I mean…the timing (and that is from both Superstars) was just amazing.

Jobber of the Night:

A unique one…but Sami Zayn.

He got to make a fool of himself several times this Nutshell. And that was before he did that comical entrance.

Plus, it was before he was made to look even sillier by Hit Row.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

The post match attack by the Bloodline on King Xavier and Kofi Kingston.

Kind of expected someone to come in and try to make a save…but there is always next week.

LOL of the night:

Not much, but I laughed a bit at Hit Row convincing Sami Zayn to show them how to do a better entrance.

Noteworthy Moment:

It was weird seeing Hit Row without B-Fab.

Also…nice to see Aaliyah…

Overall lowlights:

Personally, I hate when WWE thinks we are stupid.

Like, anyone who jumps on Twitter? They know Roman Reigns was at SmackDown last week…he just did not come on television.

But he was there after the show went off air…and social media showed us the proof.

So…no…not on vacation.

Also…yes…worth repeating…as much as I was not/am not a Hit Row fan…it’s weird having no B-Fab.

Overall highlights:

Really enjoying the Xavier Woods push.

In spite of being down a person, Hit Row pushes on.

I enjoyed Shotzi as a face…but heel Shotzi seems excellent too.

After the final bell:

This was an interesting Nutshell, to be sure.

Overall, not a bad show. Front and center, the rightful main focus?

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, rising to rival Bloodline.

They are still a man short, but it’s not hard to see this going to something bigger.

After all…the Bloodline did not bend. Came close…but Reigns saved the day.
