Jessica Bridges will no longer be teaching Spanish because she doesn’t feel it is right given that she is white. Bridges is a Ph.D. candidate at the College of Education and Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University.
She has cancelled herself because of her own skin color. These intensely woke comments occurred at the Southern Connecticut State University’s Virtual Women’s and Gender Studies Conference, which focused on “Gender, Race, Community & Conflict: Pursuing Peace and Justice.”
Bridges spoke during the “White Accountability & Anti-Racist Education” presentation. She now vows to combat her own “internalized white supremacy” and one of the ways is by giving up teaching Spanish.
Martin Luther King famously said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
But, those profound words don’t sit well with today’s woke generation.
Social justice warriors like Jessica Bridges believe skin color should automatically disqualify someone, herself included. She is not concerned with someone’s character.
Resigns For Diversity Reasons
During the virtual conference of educators, the former Spanish teacher said she resigned for diversity reasons.
This decision was made after taking a course she found on Instagram about being a “white ally” and “anti-racist coconspirator.”
Bridges is now horrified that her students in grades K-12 had to “learn Spanish from a white woman. I wish I could go back and tell my students not to learn power or correctness from this white woman. I would tell them to stand in their own power. White isn’t right.”
“Racism originates with, and is perpetuated by white people,” Bridges continued without realizing she was being racist to white people.
She believes her skin color automatically disqualifies her from teaching Spanish.
“Dismantling white supremacy in society looks like dismantling in my heart, first. It means I’m not going to teach Spanish. Accountability is ongoing because there is not end to the process.”
Critical Race Theory
This critical race theory devotee didn’t mention if she treats white students differently than students of color.
The fact that she is categorizing and qualifying people according their skin color should alarm any parent sending a child to school.

“We’re deconstructing our emotions around acknowledging our whiteness and white privilege through the lens of grief and the process of grief,” the self-admitted racist woke teacher said about her Instagram class that exposed her “white supremacy.”
“We talked about mourning our white morality. I’m holding myself accountable to this journey. Part of my accountability is to continue to struggle and grapple with my internalized white supremacy. ”
