There are many factions at AEW Dynamite. While these factions are successful, some are wondering if these factions impede some of the competition.

When you think about any faction at AEW Dynamite, you immediately know they are  quite successful. Whether we are talking about The Inner Circle or Pinnacle, all factions are doing brilliantly.

Despite faction success, it is quite obvious that factions rule AEW. Just look at the latest with Kenny Omega and his entourage.

While factions are thriving, there is less attention on individual competition. So, one has to wonder if it is affecting them.

So, how many factions are there at the moment? Well, the most obvious ones are The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle.

Obviously, there are many more. From Team Taz and The Dark Order to Death Triangle and The Nightmare Family.

These factions also led to some interesting rivalries and feuds. Of course, the first one that springs to mind is the recent bout between The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle.

The Nightmare family also had some interesting feuds with Cody Rhodes at the helm. Needless to say, factions have become the bread and butter of AEW Dynamite.

Too Much of a Good Thing?

With QT Marshall starting his own faction away from the Nightmare Family, some are wondering if the factions are too much of a good thing.

While I have thoroughly enjoyed the factions myself, let’s take a look at some of the criticism.

One of the criticisms out there relates to the fit of certain faction members. In fact, some claim only The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle are the real standout factions at this point.

With some of the other groups getting less attention, there are fans who wonder if these factions should exist at all. In particular, the criticism mentions Death Triangle and QT Marshall’s group.

Interestingly, some also claim factions are holding back some extremely talented people. One of the names mentioned was Brian Cage.

While I don’t agree with the criticism of Death Triangle, I do have to agree with the critique on Brian Cage. At this point, he surpassed Team Taz.

Of course, it seems like Brian Cage is getting ready to move away from Team Taz. There were some strong hints of that already, especially at Double or Nothing.

There is other talent in factions I feel like I’m missing out on. John Silver is another one of those talents.

For now, Silver works well with the Dark Order, but I would love to see more of him.

At the moment, I do not think the factions are a problem. On the other hand, they must be careful not to forget about focusing on their singles talent.
