AEW Dynamite showed Kenny Omega displaying all his world championships. At the time, Omega was holding four individual titles.

While many fans love the cross-brand action, others were not that impressed.

In fact, Hall of Famer Bully Ray attacked Kenny Omega for his Impact title presentation.

On social media, Bully Ray was quick to respond.

“If Im management or owners of Impact Wrestling … I’d be fkn fuming that their World Hvywt. Championship was being carried out by Naka-nobody and not at least over the shoulder of Omega. Perception is reality.”

So, Bully Ray took offense that the title was not carried by Omega. But is it truly that much of an insult?

Obviously, everyone will have their opinion on the matter. Of course, we are sure that dedicated Impact Wrestling fans might have taken offense.

That being said, it is not easy to carry four titles at the same time. However, nobody can deny that Kenny has brought a lot of attention to different indie brands.

While Kenny is predominantly on AEW, he has spent some time on AAA as well as Impact Wrestling. Because of the cross-brand jumping, he certainly has a lot of titles to his name right now.

There are plenty of people who are lining up to take Omega’s title. In the coming weeks, PAC and Orange Cassidy will battle it out for a shot at the All Elite Wrestling Championship.

The other brands are also determining their first contenders. On Impact Wrestling, this will be determined with a six-way match.

AAA on the other hand, already has a serious challenger in the form of Andrade. The latter was released from the WWE upon his request.

Despite the interesting feuds across several brands, fans are still waiting for the true invasion angle. However, major AEW stars already hinted that this is unlikely to happen.

According to Chris Jericho:

“Our roster is jam packed as it is,” Jericho said. “And I think our involvement with Impact has been pretty much what it should be. I’m not saying this in an egotistical way, but AEW is at a completely different level than Impact is. So anything that we’re doing with them benefits them a lot more than it benefits us, in my opinion.”

Jericho continued to speculate what the invasion angle would do for All Elite Wrestling at this point. And when you look at it, he’s probably right.

Nevertheless, the exchange of superstars could benefit them in the long run. Whenever there is a lack of competition, competitors could be found on another brand very easily.

The working relationship between All Elite and these other brands will be beneficial in the long run. But for now, we will not see any big invasion angles.
