Originally, we noted how Andrade’s AEW contract had creative control, but a correction has to be made. And, Total Bellas might be ending.
Andrade and Tony Khan (AEW’s President) first met in late March, a week after he was released from the WWE. The two had a meeting in Florida, but because of his 90-day no-compete clause, an agreement wasn’t made at that time.
The report on Andrade’s contract noted that negotiations stalled because of the superstar’s demands. These included creative control, veto power over losing, and working for other promotions.
The reported on the weekend noted that his final agreement provided a limit on creative control. It’s important to note that this is incorrect.
In fact, the superstar’s contract doesn’t have any creative control linked to it. Actually, no AEW talents have creative control in their deals.
It’s been noted that Khan has complete control when it comes to creative direction. WNZ will stay on top of any additional reports regarding this matter.
Across the pond to WWE news, the Bella Army should take note. Total Bellas might be coming to an end soon.
WWE Hall of Famers Brie and Nikki Bella recently had an interview with ET Online. They talked about Total Bellas ending “sooner than later”.
The reality show began its run in 2016. Aired on E!, the series has had six seasons in total.
The twins are busy ladies. In addition to running a clothing line and wine brand, they are moms, too!
Nikki has an adorable 10-month-old baby boy, Mateo. While Birdie (aged 4) and Buddy (10 months) keep Brie busy on the daily!
Both twins noted that their families have been involved in the decision process. Brie stated that while they love filming the show, both Birdie and Daniel Bryan hate the camera on them constantly.
Nikki revealed that she’s quite “protective” over Mateo. She went on to state that for her, ending the show sooner would allow her life’s moments to live through her own eyes.
During a recent Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there’s no commitment from E! to pick up another season of Total Bellas. He also stated that Bryan’s choice to return to the WWE was not based on the continuation of the reality show.
There’s been some buzz as of late that the Bella Twins could return to the ring in 2021. This would likely occur sometime in the fall.
Both Nikki and Brie are busy training for an in-ring return on their social media accounts. It’ll be interesting to see their comeback storyline unfold.
The twins participated in the 2006 WWE Divas Search. This is what got their foot in the door for a career with the company.
They debuted in Florida Championship Wrestling in June 2007. Over their years of professional wrestling, they’ve collectively held the Divas Championship three times.
They left the company before the WWE Women’s Tag Titles entered the canvas. Will they tack on “Tag Champs” to their resume, when all is said and done?
