WWE WrestleMania history is packed with some of the best debuts in professional wrestling. But which were considered the best among the WWE Universe?

Here’s our ranking:

5. Sting

Sting was already a famous wrestler before he made his debut at WrestleMania. Of course, Sting worked for a rival company for years.

Ten years after the rival promotion was taken over, Sting made his debut on the grandest stage of them all. It was only fitting that he would face Triple H.

Both wrestlers got massive entrances, adding to the gravitas of the match itself. To this day, their entrances are some of the most memorable ones in history.

Unfortunately, Sting took a loss and pretty much disappeared to the background again. However, he recently resurfaced on AEW and has done a cinematic match alongside Darby Allin.

Sting seems to be a mentor to Darby Allin on AEW at the moment. Ironically, this promotion is once again on rival station TNT.

The moment at WrestleMania was acknowledgement that Sting was a Hall of Fame worthy talent.

Everything about this match was on point, even though both men were no longer in their prime.

4. Fandango

In this list, Fandango may not have been the most successful wrestler on the WWE main roster. However, he still had one of the best debuts in WrestleMania history.

For his debut, Fandango faced none other than the legendary Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29. Before this moment, the ballroom dancer had refused to wrestle for several weeks.

At the time, the match between Fandango and Chris Jericho seemed forced and frankly appeared out of thin air. That being said, Fandango did not disappoint.

Even though Chris Jericho had loads of experience, Fandango managed to hang with this legendary wrestler.

In the end, Fandango took the win. Once again, this was a clear signal that WWE officials had lots of trust in this wrestler.

3. Baron Corbin

Corbin is such a part of the main roster now, it is difficult to remember when he actually had his debut. So, it is interesting to know that the moment catapulting him to success happened at WrestleMania 32.

Baron Corbin had one of the best debuts in WWE WrestleMania history. In fact, he had his debut at the iconic Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal had loads of interesting participants. Some of these guest participants included Diamond Dallas Page and Shaquille O’Neal.

Of course, Baron Corbin was also in that now legendary match. While fans were busy looking at Shaq and Big Show, Corbin snuck in to take the win.

It was clear the main roster had high hopes for NXT’s Baron Corbin. After all, he took the win by eliminating none other than Kane.

Corbin ended up with the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The win also had a massive impact on the rest of his career.

While his original character was quite impressive and undoubtedly brought him success, the current Baron Corbin is quite different from his NXT persona. However, I will leave it up to you to decide which were his best moments.

2. Big E

Since this happened a while ago, it is quite possible that not everyone will remember.

In fact, most people remember Big E as the loudest member of the faction New Day. But his actual WrestleMania debut did not happen with New Day.

Big E actually has one of the best debuts in WWE WrestleMania history alongside Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler and Big E took on one of the most popular teams in the form of Team Hell No. Considering the fire power in that match, it showed the WWE had some big plans for Big E.

Big E had something to prove during the match. And if you ask most WWE fans, they will tell you he most certainly delivered.

Unfortunately, it took years for Big E to get a shot at singles competition. It took New Day splitting up on separate brands for Big E to get the spotlight again.

Of course, many fans absolutely adore New Day and very much prefer this aspect of his career. But in the end, Big E is a great team player as well as a singles competitor.

After his singles debut, Big E went on to have many wonderful WrestleMania moments with New Day as well. In fact, The New Day actually hosted WrestleMania at one point and announced the iconic return of The Hardy Boyz!

Time will tell which of all iconic WrestleMania moments Big E will be remembered for most. Either way, we are sure it will be good.

If we would have to choose the best among our debuts throughout WrestleMania history, it would have to be Ronda Rousey. After all, her debut match had absolutely everything.

Before her debut match, Ronda made an appearance during WrestleMania 31. Needless to say, the WWE were keen to have her debut years later at WrestleMania 34.

At WrestleMania 34. Ronda got booked for a tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. And to add to the star power, she had Kurt Angle as her tag team partner.

The WWE did its best to make fans speculate about Ronda’s wrestling skills in the runup to the event. While she had a couple of appearances, we had yet to see her in an actual match.

Fortunately, Ronda delivered on her debut in a massive way! If anything, it was like she had been wrestling for many years.

Ronda had the charisma, the talent, and even a natural wrestling ability that seemed to blend flawlessly with her training.

Of course, there were some additional reasons why Ronda a big hit at WrestleMania. One of the main things were her interactions with Stephanie McMahon.

Since the match at WrestleMania, Ronda Rousey’s wrestling career hit off big almost instantly.

Up to the time she decided to quit wrestling to have a family, she was on top right alongside Becky Lynch.

Let us know what you think of our list and share who you would add to it!
